In Photos: Jets' Kyle Connor ties the knot with girlfriend Ally Petack in hometown Michigan
Winnipeg Jets forward Kyle Connor exchanged vows with partner Ally Petack on Sunday. Friends and fellow hockey players, including Columbus Blue Jackets alternate captain Zach Werenski and wife Odette Peters, were in attendance at the event in Kyle's hometown of Michigan.
Kyle Connor posted a series of pictures and clips on his Instagram from their memorable day. In one of the pictures, the couple posed in front of a vintage white convertible.
The bride, Ally, wore a stunning strapless white gown with a fitted silhouette and a long train. Her hair was styled in an updo, while Kyle donned a classic black tuxedo with a white shirt and black bow tie, looking sharp and stylish.
Odette Peters also posted a couple of pictures from the wedding on her Instagram stories. One of the pictures showed the newly wed couple enjoying their first dance.
The reception setup featured long tables decorated with elegant white floral arrangements. The table settings were detailed and sophisticated, with intricate placemats, gold flatware, and neatly folded napkins.
In another carousel of pictures posted by Niko Poriokos, Kyle Connor posed with his groomsmen, Porikos, Joe Cecconi and Tony Calderone. They were dressed in black tuxedos with white shirts and bow ties.
Kyle Connor and Ally Petack got engaged last year
Last year, in September, Kyle proposed to Ally during a lake trip in the offseason. They enjoyed a sweet summer together, visiting country music concerts and waterboarding. The year before, they went to the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone and the Grand Prismatic Spring during the offseason.
The Jets forward and his sweetheart have been together for over five years now. Connor first addressed their relationship back in 2019 when he wished Ally on her 23rd birthday with a grid collage of snaps of their memorable moments.
“Cheers to 23 🥂 the older you get, the better you get, unless your a banana. Happy birthday Al! Love you ❤️,” Kyle Connor wrote on Instagram.
Ally has been involved with the Winnipeg Jets Hockey Academy as a volunteer for quite some time. The program is organized by the True North Youth Foundation, which focuses on improving school attendance and graduation rates in Winnipeg by using a play-based approach to learning.
Through the academy, students gain essential life skills that help them succeed both in and out of school.
