Max Domi's training and leisure time show his readiness for the upcoming NHL season.

Max Domi called staying with Maple Leafs a 'blessing in disguise'

On June 30, 2024, Max Domi signed a four-year deal with the Toronto Maple Leafs worth $15 million. The contract has an average annual value of $3.75 million.

Domi could have become an unrestricted free agent but decided to stay with Toronto. Last season, he scored 47 points with nine goals and 38 assists in 80 games. In the playoffs, he had four points with one goal and three assists in seven games.

Domi said he is grateful for his time with many teams and coaches and is happy to stay with the Leafs despite a disappointing end to the season.

"It's great,” Domi said (via NHL.com on July 01, 2024). It's a blessing in disguise that I've had lots of opportunities to play around the League and play with lots of great teammates and learn from a lot of awesome coaches so you gain a lot of experience that way, which is very valuable."
"Part of me bouncing around was me always trying to end up here and [I] was lucky enough to get the opportunity last year," Domi added.

Max Domi was happy to keep playing for the Maple Leafs and appreciates the support and chance given by the team.
