Florida Panthers forward and the 2024 Stanley Cup champion Matthew Tkachuk revisited his childhood roots at the Villa Duchesne institution with his family.
The Villa community took to Instagram to share snapshots capturing the heartwarming visit of the Tkachuk family, led by the Stanley Cup champion Matthew Tkachuk.
"Once a Saint, always a Saint! We were treated to the BEST surprise today when Florida Panthers forward and Stanley Cup Champion Matthew Tkachuk OH '09 stopped at Villa with the Stanley Cup! Like true children of the Sacred Heart, Matthew, Brady OH '11, and Taryn '21 brought so much joy to our Passport campers and Villa team.
"Our campers will always remember this experience! Villa is your home and we are so grateful that you made us a part of this incredible day! Thank you to the entire Tkachuk family for this memory for our community, it was magical," Villa Duchesne captioned the post.
The Tkachuk trio, including Matthew, Brady, and Tarym, brought sheer delight to the Villa community, embodying the cherished values of their alma mater. Matthew Tkachuk attended the elementary program, previously named Oak Hill School, at Villa Duchesne.

Matthew Tkachuk meets three-time Super Bowl champion
Tkachuk recently met the three-time Super Bowl winner with the Kansas City Chiefs, Travis Kelce. The two sports stars came together on Saturday, and Tkachuk took to Instagram to share a story from the encounter, captioning it simply "champions."
Kelce won his third NFL title after beating the 49ers 25-22 in overtime in February. It was notably a back-to-back championship for the Cheifs and Kelce. Meanwhile, the Panthers also made it to the Cup final for the second consecutive year and won their first title after beating the Oilers in Game 7 of the final last month.
Tkachuk accumulated 22 points through six goals and 16 assists in 24 playoff games with the Cats. In the regular season, he notched up 88 points through 26 goals and 62 assists in 80 games.
