Dallas Stars forward Jamie Benn's wife, Jessica Benn, posted pictures of the couple rocking 1920s-style outfits. The couple was getting ready for the Stars' season kick-off party.
On Wednesday, Jessica shared the images on Instagram from Columbian Country Club in Dallas and wrote:
"Flashback to the roaring twenties"
In the image, Jessica and Jamie Benn are wearing 1920s-inspired outfits for a themed party. Jessica's look resembles the flapper style from that era. She wore layers of pearls around her neck and held a large feather fan. Her long black gloves and wavy hair added to the vintage style.
Jamie is dressed in a suit inspired by the "Peaky Blinders" series, set in the 1920s. He wears a three-piece suit with a flat cap, typical of that time. A pocket watch and chain are visible, completing his vintage look. Together, their outfits reflect classic 1920s fashion, blending elegance with a retro fashion-inspired style.
Earlier on July 26, the couple got married in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. They tied the knot after dating for a long time. Jessica previously shared her wedding photoshoot on Instagram and wrote:
"Mr. & Mrs. Benn 🤍"
In another post, the couple shared glimpses from their wedding day, and Jessica wrote:
"Whatever souls are made of, yours and mine are the same. @tecpetaja behind the lens"
After the season kick-off party, Jamie Benn has his eyes set on the Stanley Cup
Dallas Stars captain Jamie Benn is entering the last year of his contract. He plays with talented young players like Jason Robertson and Wyatt Johnston, who have helped the team reach the Western Conference finals in the last two seasons. This success raises hopes that Benn can win a Stanley Cup, and he believes the team has the potential for great success.
“We’ve got a great group of guys here, a lot of young kids that are ready to play right now and full of energy. I think we have all the pieces to do great things here,” Benn said (via AP).
General manager Jim Nill praised Benn's focus on winning this season, hailing Benn's leadership and team-first attitude. Benn ranks among the franchise's top players in games played and points, having played all 82 games for the last three seasons. His ice time has been reduced under coach Pete DeBoer to keep him fresh.
Jamie Benn sees the energy from younger players like Robertson and Johnston as beneficial for the team. The Stars also have rookies Logan Stankoven and Mavrik Bourque, who may play important roles this season. Additionally, Benn’s brother, Jordie, has joined the team as a player development assistant, starting a new chapter in their family's hockey story.
