Habs forward Patrik Laine's fiancee Jordan Leigh recently enjoyed a girls' day out with other partners of the Montreal Canadiens players. They went to an apple garden for some fun fruit picking.
Jordan Leigh enjoyed the outing with Caitlin Fitzgerald, who is engaged to Habs star Nick Suzuki. Joining them was Emma Fortin, the partner of Brandan Gallagher, Josh Anderson’s wife Pola Anderson, and Emilia Armia, whose husband is Canadiens forward Joel Armia.
On Saturday, Leigh posted a series of pictures and clips from their girls’ day out on her Instagram stories. In one of the pictures the girls group posted together in the garden for a selfie. In the next few pictures and clips, Jordan shared the apple garden with her fans.
Emma Fortin also posted pictures from their outing, which were reposted by Pola Anderson on her stories. Pola added a few clicks on her own stories as well. The ladies clearly had a great time bonding over their day out in the apple garden.
Earlier Jordan Leigh had voiced her anxiety about getting to know a new community of hockey players in Montreal after Patrik Laine was traded from the Columbus Blue Jackets. She had mentioned moving six times since the time she had been with Laine. It seems Leigh has gotten along well with her new group and is enjoying her company.
Jordan Leigh was relieved after Patrik Laine’s injury update
Patrik Laine gave fans quite a scare when be sustained a knee injury during the team’s preseason game against the Toronto Maple Leafs. Laine collided knee-on-knee with Maple Leafs forward Cedric Pare, which left him unable to put weight on his left leg.
Initially, it was assumed that he might need surgery. However, the Canadiens’ official social media account provided an update on Tuesday, revealing that Laine’s injury would not require surgery. The forward is expected to make a full recovery in about two-three months.
Laine himself took to Instagram to thank fans for their support, sharing a photo of himself on crutches. Jordan Leigh also reacted to the news by reposting the Canadiens’ update on her Instagram story, calling it “a real-life miracle” and thanked everyone for the support.
Earlier in January, Laine had entered the NHL/NHLPA player assistance program to focus on his mental health.
