In Photos: Red Wings goaltender Jack Campbell's Morgan Wallen-linked bespoke surprise birthday presents for wife Ashley Sonnenberg

Detroit Red Wings goaltender Jack Campbell surprised his wife Ashley Sonnenberg on her 28th birthday with a special present. He gifted her a special trip to Tampa, where she and her friends will get to see country music star Morgan Wallen perform at Raymond James Stadium on Oct. 4.

Along with the trip, Campbell also gifted Ashley custom-made "Wallen 98" shirts. On Thursday, Sonnenberg posted a couple of stories on her Instagram.

“When the husband surprises you for your birthday with a girls trip to Tampa to see Morgan Wallen,” she wrote

In another clip, Ashley shared a look at a custom-made Wallen jersey that Campbell got for her.

“& with matching jerseys! This man,” Ashley wrote in the caption.

Morgan Wallen’s Friday performance in Tampa is part of his ongoing "One Night at a Time World Tour". Following his standout year as a touring artist in 2022, Wallen continues to rock the country music scene, with his tour ranked in the Top 5 on Pollstar's LIVE75 chart and featuring 57 shows across multiple countries and continents.

Jack Campbell and Ashley Sonnenberg had a rainy wedding afterparty in Cabo

Earlier this summer, Jack Campbell and his bride Ashley Sonnenberg tied the knot on July 17 at a beautiful resort in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Ashley shared glimpses of their wedding after-party on Instagram even as raindrops fell.

The couple had a lovely wedding ceremony, with Ashley wearing a beautiful Galia Lahav off-shoulder gown and later changing into two more elegant white dresses. Jack looked sharp in a navy blue suit. They celebrated with custom martini glasses featuring their dogs, Huey and Millie, and enjoyed coconut water by the sea.

Instead of letting the weather dampen their spirits, they took the celebration to the pool, where they danced and partied with their guests.

"The after party .. in the rain ☔️🖤," Ashely captioned the carousel of pictures.

In one of the photos, Ashley looked stunning in a white body-hugging mini dress, paired with a white necklace and her hair styled in a ponytail. The couple also cut their wedding cake, which featured their initials ‘A+J’ and shared a sweet kiss.

Jack even tried his hand at DJing. Ashley had fun with her friends during the bouquet-throwing ceremony. As the party progressed, everyone ended up in the swimming pool. Jack was seen shirtless while Ashley playfully held a water gun, making the most of the rainy situation.
