In Photos: Senators' Linus Ullmark shares off-season "summer photo dump" with friends and family

Linus Ullmark was traded from the Boston Bruins to the Ottawa Senators in June. Since the trade, Ulmark and his family have been enjoying the summer in Canada, with a report from Shawn Simpson saying that he bought a home in Ottawa.

On Tuesday, Ullmark shared several photos on social media as part of his summer photo dump. One image showed Ullmark and several others enjoying the Northern Lights. In another photo, he was with his dog, and the final photo showed his daughter spending time with the family's dog

Another photo showed Ullmark and Jeremy Swayman of the Boston Bruins together.

With the Senators, Linus Ulmark may serve as the team's primary netminder. The team would hope that the former Vezina Trophy winner will elevate their goaltending unit alongside Anton Forsberg.

Linus Ullmark reportedly purchased a house in Ottawa

Linus Ullmark reportedly purchasing a house in Ottawa led many to believe that the veteran goalie may be planning to stick around long-term.

Currently, he has one year left on his contract and will be an unrestricted free agent after this season.

While Ullmark had a partial no-trade clause, after leaving the Bruins he clarified that Ottawa was never on his no-trade list. Given this, several NHL insiders believe Ullmark will re-sign this summer.

Some people believe that Ullmark could receive similar offers from other teams as Ottawa, such as the chance to be the main goaltender while playing alongside his long-time friend, goalie Anton Forsberg. According to Steve Warne of The Hockey News, other teams will also have the opportunity to offer Ullmark the same role as the leading netminder this summer.

In addition, with Forsberg also entering the final year of his deal, if the Senators don't extend him, the decision could impact Linus Ullmark's future with the team.

With the 2024-25 NHL season rapidly approaching, it will be interesting to see how things play out.
