"John's twin": Johnny Gaudreau's sister Katie shares adorable 'Noa content'

Since the tragic death of Matthew and Johnny Gaudreau in a biking accident in late August, their family has shared touching moments in their memory. On Thursday, Johnny’s sister Katie Gaudreau posted one such adorable picture of Johnny and Meredith’s two-year-old daughter, Noa.

Katie shared an adorable picture of Noa smiling at the camera, wearing a pink outfit while sitting on a white high-backed stool in their kitchen. Katie called her two-year-old niece “John’s twin” and shared a heartwarming caption:

“Just some Noa content to make everyone’s Thursday. Your welcome,” with a white heart emoji.

Johnny Gaudreau’s wife, Meredith, later reposted the story on her Instagram.

Last month, Katie shared a heartfelt message about her two-year-old niece, Noa. In an Instagram story, she expressed how Noa has been a source of light and hope for the Gaudreau family after Johnny and his brother Matthew’s tragic passing.

“I hope one day she knows she was the one that saved us. The one we look at and see John… the reason we keep going every day. Thankful to be your aunt but even more thankful I get to tell you all about your daddy and uncle and how amazing they are,” Katie Gaudreau wrote.

She also mentioned how grateful she feels to be Noa’s aunt and to share Johnny’s legacy with her.

Katie Gaudreau shares glimpses from BC Hockey’s tribute to Matthew and Johnny Gaudreau

Boston College Hockey paid a heartfelt tribute to alumni Johnny and Matthew Gaudreau last Friday, honoring the brothers after their tragic death in August after being struck by a suspected drunk driver.

The tribute took place before Boston College’s game against Maine, where rally towels with the Gaudreau brothers' initials were placed on every seat and their initials were displayed near the BC bench.

A ceremonial puck drop included the families of Johnny, Matthew and Tony Voce. Katie Gaudreau attended and shared pictures from the night on Instagram.

“Eagles forever.🤍 Thank you BC. 🦅”, she wrote in the caption.

Katie’s photos included images of Eagles players entering the ice in “GAUDREAU” jerseys, the family on the ice in jerseys numbered for Johnny and Matthew, and fans showing support. Boston College’s coaches and campus leaders shared memories of the Gaudreau brothers and a video tribute highlighted their contributions both on and off the ice.

The warm-up jerseys worn by the players, featuring the names and numbers of Johnny, Matthew, and Voce, were later auctioned to support charitable causes chosen by the Gaudreau family.
