Leon Draisaitl and fiancee Celeste Desjardins enjoy Christmas morning skate with Oilers teammates and their families
Edmonton Oilers forward Leon Draisaitl and his fiancee, Celeste Desjardins, celebrated Christmas morning with a family skate alongside teammates Troy Stecher and Mattias Ekholm. Joining them were Stecher’s girlfriend, Emma Vincent, and Ekholm’s wife, Ida Bjornstad, along with the couple's young son.
On Tuesday, Desjardins shared pictures and clips from their outing on her Instagram stories. In one clip, Draisaitl was seen netting a puck during the skate. Another post featured the couple posing together on the ice.
Draisaitl wore a beige hoodie, white sweatpants, a colorful beanie and orange gloves. Celeste was dressed in a long black puffer coat and beige gloves. The last clip showed their dogs running between trees in a snow-capped forest.
Troy Stecher and his partner also posted a few clicks on their stories. Stecher posted a close-up of his skates on the ice, followed by a click where he posed with Emma. He wore a brown hoodie, vest, and black skates, while Emma wore a camo jacket, gray leggings, and a beanie.
Emma also shared a still taken from the rink. In the caption, she wrote:

Mattias Ekholm’s wife, Ida Björnstad, also shared their moments from the family skate on Instagram. In one of the clips, their son can be seen wearing an Oilers jersey with "EKHOLM 14," red pants, skates, and a pink helmet as he pushed a stroller on the ice.
The couple also posed together for a selfie on the rink. Ida was dressed in a white and black jacket with a black knit beanie, while Mattias wore a black jacket and blue beanie.

Leon Draisaitl and Mattias Ekholm’s partners joined them on Oilers’ annual hospital visit
Edmonton Oilers stars Leon Draisaitl and Mattias Ekholm visited Edmonton hospitals last Wednesday as part of the team’s annual holiday hospital visits. They were joined by their partners.
The Oilers’ official Instagram account shared photos of the special day showing Draisaitl and Desjardins posing with families, while Ekholm and Bjornstad interacted with children and their families.
“Our annual holiday hospital visits were held yesterday with #Oilers players stopping by various Edmonton-area locations including Draisaitl & Ekholm plus their significant others at Ronald McDonald House! 💙🧡 #LetsGoOilers,” the caption of the post read.
Earlier that day, Celeste Desjardins attended the launch party for Connor McDavid’s wife Lauren Kyle’s sportswear brand, Sports Club Atelier. The event featured the debut of the “Legacy Line,” a premium collection inspired by collegiate sports culture.
The launch party featured branded apparel displays, signature cocktails and interactive photo setups. She later shared highlights from the evening on her Instagram stories and mentioned how proud she was of her friend Lauren.
