Leon Draisaitl's fiancee Celeste Desjardins pens 3-word reaction after joining Oilers stars for annual holiday hospital visit
Edmonton Oilers stars Leon Draisaitl and Mattias Ekholm visited Edmonton hospitals during the team’s annual holiday hospital visits on Wednesday. Their partners, Celeste Desjardins and Ida Bjornstad, also accompanied their better halves on the outing.
The Oilers’ official Instagram account shared a carousel of photos from the event, where Draisaitl and Desjardins posed with families. Ekholm and Bjornstad were also seen interacting with children and their families in several Edmonton hospitals.
“Our annual holiday hospital visits were held yesterday with #Oilers players stopping by various Edmonton-area locations including Draisaitl & Ekholm plus their significant others at Ronald McDonald House! 💙🧡 #LetsGoOilers,” the caption of the post read.
Celeste Desjardins dropped in on the comments and expressed her excitement.
“The most special day,” she wrote.
She also shared the post on her Instagram stories, adding a red heart and teary-eyed emoji.

On Wednesday evening, Celeste Desjardins joined other Edmonton Oilers players’ partners to celebrate the launch of Connor McDavid’s wife Lauren Kyle’s new sports apparel brand, Sports Club Atelier. Evander Kane’s fiancee, Mara Teigen, and Connor Brown’s wife, Madison, were also among the guests on the evening.
During the party, Lauren displayed a range of items from the collection, including branded caps, varsity jackets, and sweatshirts with “EDMONTON” prints. A catalog titled "SCA Yearbook" was shown to the attendees featuring the brand's campus-inspired designs.
Guests were treated to signature cocktails, decorative party favors and an interactive photo setup with vintage Polaroid cameras. Celeste was seen chatting with Lauren and other guests in a clip shared by Lauren Kyle on her stories, which Desjardins later reposted on her own account.

Lauren Kyle’s Sports Club Atelier is a limited-edition premium sportswear brand in collaboration with the Edmonton Oilers. The brand’s debut collection, "The Legacy Line," is inspired by collegiate sports culture, per their online store.
The collection includes varsity jackets, crewneck sweatshirts, corsets, caps and other apparel designed with vintage-inspired colors and campus life themes. Each piece is labeled as wearable sports memorabilia, primarily Edmonton-based.
