“Love you daddy”: Johnny Gaudreau’s wife Meredith shares adorable father-daughter moment with young Noa
Columbus Blue Jackets late star Johnny Gaudreau’s wife, Meredith, recently shared a touching memory of Johnny with their daughter, Noa. The Instagram post showed Johnny helping Noa get ready, likely for a dance class. He was seated on a small bench, wearing a casual outfit and a baseball cap.
Johnny carefully tied Noa’s hair, while Little Noa, dressed in bright pink, stood in front of him, looking at the camera with an adorable expression.
Meredith’s post read:
“We love you daddy” showing affection for Johnny.
Meredith also wrote, “The best dance dad, & the painted fingernails (best girl dad).”
The moment captured Johnny as a devoted father, spending quality time with his daughter. Johnny Gaudreau and his brother Matthew died on August 29. They were hit by a suspected drunk driver while biking near their hometown in New Jersey. Johnny and Matthew were there for their sister’s wedding.

On September 30, the Columbus Blue Jackets celebrated Noa’s second birthday. Team members and families joined the celebration.
“Happy 2nd Birthday Noa!” Meredith shared several photos from the event.
Later, on October 30, Meredith shared highlights from a family beach day. She posted photos and videos showing Johnny and Noa playing in the sand. One picture shows Noa reaching for Johnny, who is smiling back at her. In another, Johnny squats down to talk to her. Meredith’s captioned the story:
“Daddy’s girl and twin” and “Daddy’s favorite girl too.”
Meredith also shared a video of Noa taking her first steps. In the clip, Noa walks from Johnny’s arms to Meredith while their dog watches. A baby photo board in the background shows Noa’s growth over time.
