"Made it to my first game": Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl's partners Lauren and Celeste attend Denver Broncos game
Edmonton Oilers superstars Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl share great chemistry on and off the ice. Their partners, Lauren Kyle and Celeste Desjardins are best friends, who often go on outings together.
Lauren and Celeste attended the Monday Night Football game between the Cleveland Browns and the Denver Broncos at Empower Field at Mile High in Denver. Lauren posted a carousel of pictures from the game day on her Instagram account on Wednesday.
“Made it to my first game 🏈”, Lauren Kyle captioned the post.
In the first image, Lauren can be seen wearing a black and orange ‘Broncos’ varsity jacket, standing near the sidelines. She also shared a group selfie with Celeste Desjardins who can be seen wearing a white hoodie and a Broncos cap. Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce’s mom Donna Kelce was also there with the group, wearing Kelce’s #87 shirt.
Lauren also posted a clip of a colorful cornhole board resting on the ground, designed with Broncos art.
Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl’s partners attended their game against the Avs
Earlier last week, the Edmonton Oilers defeated the Colorado Avalanche 4-1 at Ball Arena in Denver. Among the attendees were Oilers captain Connor McDavid’s wife Lauren Kyle, and Celeste Desjardins, fiancee of Leon Draisaitl.
Kyle shared snapshots from the game on Instagram, showing the atmosphere inside the arena as the Oilers led 3-1 in the third period. She also posted a mirror selfie with Desjardins as the two posed in the changing room of the arena. Desjardins wore a white blazer with blue jeans, while Kyle opted for an all-black ensemble featuring high-waisted jeans and a black top.
Kyle also promoted the Oilers’ 50/50 charity raffle, which supports the Ben Stelter Foundation and the Kids with Cancer Society. She reminisced the memory of Ben Stelter, a young Oilers fan who passed away from brain cancer in 2022.
“Just a reminder that the Edmonton Oilers 50/50 running from November 29 - December 7th is in support of the @benstelterfoundation & @kwcsyeg! Join the fight for a cure!” Kyle wrote on Instagram, urging fans to participate.
The charity initiative followed last week’s Hockey Fights Cancer Night at Rogers Place, where Connor McDavid dedicated the game to the Stelter family. The night included a ceremonial puck drop by children fighting cancer and raised over $1.3 million through the 50/50 jackpot and bonus draw.
