Mike Commodore playfully trolls Jakub Voracek's picture of Czechia's IIHF gold medal - "How about I shove it up right up your fat a**"
Former NHL player Mike Commodore took the opportunity to throw some playful banter at ex-teammate Jakub Voracek after the latter posted a picture of the gold medal he won with the Czech Republic at the 2024 IIHF World Championships.
Voracek posted the picture of the gold medal on Sunday after the Czech Republic's victory over Switzerland, and Mike Commodore dropped a hilarious trolling comment under the tweet.
“Hey Jake…I have one of those…how about I shove it right up your fat a**?” Commodore commented.
Mike Commodore, who won his IIHF gold medal with Canada in 2007, often finds himself in the headlines for his brash comments. Just recently he blasted newly appointed Winnipeg Jets coach Scott Arniel, in light of their bitter history together.
Voracek and Commodore were teammates during their Columbus Blue Jackets days. In fact, they were quite good friends and had even roomed together.
Mike Commodore shared Jakub Voracek’s M&M addiction
Earlier last year, Commodore shared a funny story about his former roommate, Jakub Voracek during an appearance on the Nasty Knuckles Podcast.
He revealed that when they were both new to the Columbus Blue Jackets, a scout had warned Commodore to watch out for Voracek's M&M's addiction.
“When he first came, his first year in Columbus was my first year in Columbus,” Mike Commodore said. “Tyler Wright was a scout for player development or whatever for Columbus. He said, ‘Hey, we're putting you with Jake. Make sure he doesn't eat too many M&M's.’”
Commodore found it amusing and a bit odd but agreed to keep an eye on it.
“I'm like, ‘Make sure he doesn't eat too many M&M's?’ What the [bleep] are you talking about? I'm like, ‘Yeah, sure, I'll try and keep an eye on what this guy eats, sure.’”
He mentioned how Voracek would devour all the M&M's from their hotel room mini bar almost immediately upon arrival:
“That dude would vacuum M&M's. We'd get on the road and, you know, they have the little mini bar. I mean, those M&M's, we would barely get in the room and they were gone. I'm like, ‘Would you stop eating all the M&M's?’ Anyway, he was the best dude, man. He was awesome.”
Commodore also praised Voracek as a great player and person, and they shared a laugh about the story.
