NHL twitter reacts as Edmonton Oilers' goalie Jack Campbell makes 30 saves in win over Red Wings
The Edmonton Oilers played against the Detroit Red Wings in their first game back from the All-Star Game. They managed to win the game comfortably with a 5-2 scoreline with goalie Jack Campbell racking up 30 saves from the 32 shots directed at his goal tonight.
NHL fans were all praises for the 31-year-old goalie who was playing in his hometown of Detroit.

Jack Campbell has now won eight straight starts, the most consecutive starts won by an Oilers goalie since Tommy Salo won nine in a row in 2000-01.
Edmonton Oilers dominated the entire game
The Edmonton Oilers won their eighth game in the last nine, defeating the Detroit Red Wings 5-2 at Little Caesars Arena on Tuesday.
Tyler Bertuzzi opened the scoring for the Detroit Red Wings in the first period. The Oilers were looking good offensively but could not get anything past Wings' goalie Ville Husso.
The Edmonton Oilers started the second half with two goals in five minutes, one each from Ryan McLeod and Warren Foegele. Foegele doubled his tally later in the second period. Joe Veleno scored a goal in the final seconds of the second period to make it 3-2 heading into the final period.
Ryan Nugent-Hopkins scored in the power play with an assist from Connor McDavid to add to his one assist in the game. McDavid extended his points streak to 13 games. Evander Kane scored the fifth goal for the Oilers and also had an assist.
The Red Wings are very close to the bottom of the table in the Atlantic Division and have gone five games without a win in regulation time.
The Edmonton Oilers are in fourth place in the Pacific Division with a 29-18-4 record. They have maintained their momentum since before the All-Star break and will look to maintain it further when they play against the Philadelphia Flyers on Thursday.
