The San Jose Sharks won 4-1 against the Washington Capitals on Sunday at the Capital One Arena in Washington, DC. He dribbled down the left side and snapped a shot past goalie Charlie Lindgren to increase his goal tally to five.Alexander Barbanov doubled the Sharks' lead nine minutes into the second half, when a shot deflected off the goalie and fell to his stick. The goal guaranteed a point for Barbanov, marking his four-game point streak.Late into the second period, Evgeny Kuznetsov ran down the right wing. He impressively fought off a defender to guide the puck into the net, making it 1-2 for the Washington Capitals.Erik Karlsson netted his 18th goal of the season with an assist from Alexander Barbanov to make it 3-1 for the San Jose Sharks.
