Ray Ferraro gives blunt response to fan claiming he gets secret information of Canucks locker room drama from wife & team AGM Cammi
Former NHLer and ESPN hockey analyst Ray Ferraro addressed a fan's claim regarding his knowledge of a rumored locker room rift within the Vancouver Canucks, particularly involving players J.T. Miller and Elias Pettersson.
The fan, who appears to support the Canucks, claimed on X/Twotter that Ferraro might be withholding information due to his wife, Cami Granato's position as the team's assistant general manager.
The fan speculated that Ferraro's neutral stance was a way to avoid controversy, also implying that Vancouver Canucks coach Rick Tocchet might be aware of the situation. The fan posted:
"His wife is the AGM of the team. … let’s be real. Ray knows SOMETHING, but obvs he’s gotta take a strong stance and say he doesn’t know. Speculating and staying neutral is the safest option. But obvs Granato is aware of what’s happening in the locker room. Come on now."
In response, Ray Ferraro firmly denied any insider knowledge about the team's locker room dynamics, writing:
"You would be really disappointed if you were listening to Canuck talk in our house. … It just doesn't happen. I find out about Canucks news online like everybody else. … I'd have several examples if you'd like."
Although there have been reports about the Vancouver Canucks' locker room rift, it's all speculatory about what might be happening between the Canucks players.
