Per ESPN insider Kevin Weekes, Rod Brind'Amour and his coaching staff have all agreed to a multi-year extensions with the Carolina Hurricanes. There was a lot of speculation, Brind'Amour may leave the team after Canes' playoff exit, but this report clears the air on his future at Carolina.
Rod Brind'Amour had addressed his future as Hurricanes' head coach earlier in the playoffs. He talked about his conversation with Hurricanes GM Don Waddell and said that both parties were interested in extending.
Weekes mentions that Brind'Amour and coaching staff's extension news will be made official by the team in a few days.
