Erin Andrews praises Celeste Desjardins after Leon Draisaitl

"She is so hot": Erin Andrews wowed by Leon Draisaitl's fiancee Celeste Desjardins beauty

On the “Calm Down” podcast, Fox Sports NFL reporter Erin Andrews praised Celeste Desjardins, fiancee of NHL star Leon Draisaitl. That came after Draisaitl had signed an eight-year, $112 million deal with the Edmonton Oilers.

Andrews was impressed by Desjardins, a model and actress, describing her as “hot” and guessing her to be of European descent.

“I’ve never met Leon Draisaitl, who just signed a huge contract with the Edmonton Oilers, or his wife, but she is so hot. ... She is so good looking. I don’t know what nationality she is. She is I would assume European, but wow. She is so hot," Andrews said.

Desjardins also celebrated Draisaitl’s new contract on her Instagram story. She wrote:

“So incredibly proud of you baby. I’ve watched you pour so much love and hard work in everything you do. Your commitment and passion for the game is unmatched. I can’t wait to see what the next 8 years has in store for you. So happy to be on this journey with you and get the privilege to call Edmonton home for the next 8 years..."

Leon Draisaitl and Canadian actress Celeste Desjardins began dating in 2018. They announced their engagement on July 11, 2024, with photos of their proposal in Mallorca, Spain.

Leon Draisaitl's focus is to win the Stanley Cup for the Oilers

Leon Draisaitl is excited after receiving a long-term extension with the Edmonton Oilers.

He hopes to spend his entire career with the team. This deal will ensure that he's focused on his play and his team's chances to win the Stanley Cup in the upcoming season.

"We've gathered a lot of experience, a lot of positive signs over our playoff run and we have a big chunk of the group back." Draisaitl said about upcoming season. (via NHL.com)
"I think we're ready to attack again and ready to apply these messages and these moments that we've learned along the way last season, into this season."

Draisaitl said that the team's goal is to win the Stanley Cup, and he believes they are close. General manager Stan Bowman praised Draisaitl's talent and shared his importance to the team's future success.

“Players like Leon are special,” Bowman said. “... There’s no way we could ever replace what Leon brings to the table. He’s a huge part of our team."

The Game 7 loss in the Stanley Cup finals was heart-wrenching for Leon Draisaitl and captain Connor McDavid. He and Hyman were leading the team when McDavid was injured last season. They will hope to avoid repeating the old mistakes.
