"Taking over the front end of the plane" – T.J. Oshie’s wife Lauren shares snaps of their kids running riot
Washington Capitals right wing T.J. Oshie's wife, Lauren, gave her Instagram followers a glimpse into the chaos of traveling with young children. On Saturday, she shared videos of her traveling with her children on a flight on Instagram.
One video shows the two youngest of their four children, Cambell Richard Oshie and, Lucy Collins, restless, moving around constantly, and enjoying chocolates inside the flight cabin. Lauren Oshie humorously captioned the video:
"Just taking over the entire front end of the plane. You can really see the level of desperation by the family size chips ahoy bag on the tray to your right."
In another story, Lauren Oshie thanked the flight passengers and attendants for their patience and understanding:
"Thank god for understanding passengers and flight attendants."
She titled the first story:
"Reno Minneapolis Flight content Continued..."

Their first daughter, Layla Grace, born in 2014, needed surgery for gastroschisis. The couple had Leni Rose in 2016, Cambell Richard in 2020, and Lucy Collins in 2023. Lauren Oshie frequently posts pictures of her small family on her Instagram.
On Jun. 29, she posted pictures from a summer hot dog party by the pool and wrote:
"There is truly nothing better than a day that fades into night, spent out by the pool soaking in family time. Most of these days for us consist of grilling out and hot dogs are always our grill food of choice. Summer and hot dogs just go together so perfectly."
Lauren Oshie is from St. Louis, Missouri. She studied Marketing and Advertising at Saint Louis University. She met T.J. Oshie. in 2011 and they married in 2015. Lauren Oshie was a cheerleader for the St. Louis Blues.
She supports charitable causes, including Alzheimer’s awareness and the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
