Watch: Adam Fantilli backflips off high cliff into blue waters of cove-studded island Capri on Italian holiday with brother Luca

Columbus Blue Jackets rookie Adam Fantilli is enjoying this off-season in Capri, Italy. The place is popular for its beautiful mountainous beaches and clear waters. Fantilli, who had to exit early in his rookie season due to an injury, seems to have recovered completely.

Fantilli posted a series of pictures from his trip to Italy on Instagram on Monday. In the first picture, he can be seen relaxing in the soft daylight beside the sea. He is wearing shorts with a white and blue shirt.

In the next picture, he can be seen at a fruit market gazing at the fruits with "Don't touch" signs. Mediterranean climate is known for the production of a wide variety of fruits.

Next, we get to see the Blue Jackets rookie cliff-jumping into the relaxing cold waters. Nothing more could give this level of relief in summer. Fantilli also sat down for some food at a local restaurant.

In the next picture, we see the streets of Capri, Italy. Adam Fantilli also posed for a picture alongside brother Luca.

The last image of the series takes us back to the beach, where Fantilli is on a parked boat. There are several small boats in the background and also a docked ferry.

Adam Fantilli's injury during his rookie season

Adam Fantilli suffered a calf laceration during his rookie season with the Columbus Blue Jackets. As a result, he missed the final 33 games of the season.

“I only played 49 games this year,” Fantilli, who was drafted third overall in the 2023 NHL draft, said (via The Hockey News). “I have to get my game going. That’s my concern.”

Adam Fantilli scored a total of 27 points in his first NHL season. He scored 12 goals and 15 assists with a plus-minus of -21.
