Watch: Jordan Binnington beckons Linus Ullmark for a goalie fight after all-out Blues-Sens scrum breaks out

During Tuesday's matchup between the Blues and Senators, chaos unfolded at the Canadian Tire Centre as Jordan Binnington beckoned Linus Ullmark for a goalie fight.

The game erupted into an all-out brawl, with players from both teams engaged in a fierce scrum behind the Blues' net in the third period. Amid the melee, Jordan Binnington grabbed hold of Brady Tkachuk and skated out of the fray to taunt Linus Ullmark, who had cautiously creeped out of his line. The exchange added to the matchup drama, as both goalies appeared ready to engage in a showdown.

As the dust settled from the chaos, several players found themselves on the receiving end of penalties. Tim Stutzle received a two-minute minor for roughing against Matthew Kessel, who was also penalized with a two-minute minor for his actions against Stutzle.

Meanwhile, Brady Tkachuk was handed a two-minute minor for roughing against Philip Broberg, who retaliated with a two-minute minor of his own for roughing against Tkachuk.


Jordan Binnington and the Blues suffer crushing defeat to Senators

On Tuesday, the Ottawa Senators thrashed the St. Louis Blues 8-1 at the Canadian Tire Centre. Tim Stutzle shone brightly, picking up four points, while Brady Tkachuk and Adam Gaudette contributed two points each.

Josh Norris opened the scoring for the Senators just 1:04 into the first period. Three minutes later, Noah Gregor extended the lead before Stutzle netted his second of the night, pushing the home team's advantage to 3-0.

In the second period, Tkachuk scored twice, and Gaudette added a goal at 11:50, making it 6-0. Entering the final period, Stutzle struck again, making it 7-0 at 7:31.

Dylan Holloway scored the lone goal for the Blues on a powerplay at 9:04, but Gaudette sealed the game with his second goal at 15:27 for an 8-1 win.

Jordan Binnington was replaced after allowing three goals on 14 shots, and Joel Hofer took over, giving up five goals on 21 shots. The Blues will be up against the Philadelphia Flyers next on Thursday. The puck drops at 7 p.m. ET.
