Los Angeles Kings defeat Winnipeg Jets 4-1
The Los Angeles Kings' game against the Winnipeg Jets was a one-sided affair. The Kings controlled the game from the start and took the lead in the second minute of the first period through Viktor Arvidsson.
They continued with the same intensity in the second and third periods. Even though the Jets pulled one back, it was not enough, and LA dominated the game 4-1.
The Kings have performed well this season, and are third in the Pacific Division with 94 points. Their offense has done a great job and has contributed 245 goals in 72 games. Adrian Kempe and Anze Kopitar have combined well, contributing 60 goals. Defense, however, has been a problem as they are conceding 3.2 goals per game.
LA are four points behind the Vegas Golden Knights and will be optimistic about challenging for the division and Stanley Cup. They have won four of their previous five games and will be ready for their next challenge, the St. Louis Blues, on March 26, 2023. The Blues are not having the best of seasons in the Central Division and the Kings will fancy their chances.
