WATCH: Stanley Cup champ Matthew Tkachuk parties with NFL star Travis Kelce and Hollywood’s finest Chace Crawford and Blake Griffin
Florida Panthers forward Matthew Tkachuk was spotted partying following the American Century Championship golf tournament this weekend. But the fun didn’t end once the tournament was over.
The action moved to the clubhouse in which the star-studded group featured a number of A-list celebrities, including NFL star Travis Kelce and Hollywood celebs Chace Crawford and Blake Griffin.
Here’s a look at the action, including the Panthers' Matthew Tkachuk trying his hand at beer pong.
Tennis star Mardy Fish took first place at the tournament, with NHL forward Joe Pavelski finishing second. Meanwhile, Matthew Tkachuk played his best, finishing 34th. His score of 24 placed him in the middle of the pack, beating out other NHL stars like John Carlson and T.J. Oshie. The proceeds of the event went to charity.
Tkachuk has been enjoying the summer following the Panthers’ epic Stanely Cup run. His participation in the American Century Championship is just one of the activities that have filled Tkachuk’s time since ending the playoffs.
Matthew Tkachuk to represent Team USA at 4 Nations Face-Off
Matthew Tkachuk was among the first names to be included in Team USA’s roster for the 4 Nations tournament in 2025. The American side includes huge names like the Rangers’ Adam Fox, Canucks’ Quinn Hughes, and the Maple Leafs’ Auston Matthews.
While this preliminary list is loaded with talent, Tkachuk figures to be a key member of the American side. Given the firepower of the other teams, Team USA will need Tkachuk to be a leader on and off the ice.
The tournament will take place in February 2025 at the Bell Centre in Montreal and the TD Garden in Boston. A total of nine games will be played over nine days. The tourney will follow NHL rules as compared to IIHF rules for other international competitions.
Team USA’s final roster will be announced in the weeks leading up to the tournament. In the meantime, Tkachuk will make up the core of a powerhouse American squad that should match up strongly against Team Canada, Sweden, and Finland.
Other stars included in preliminary rosters feature Sidney Crosby, Nathan MacKinnon, Connor McDavid, Aleksander Barkov, Erik Karlsson, and William Nylander.
