Oilers lineup today: Edmonton’s projected lineup for Game 2 against the Florida Panthers | Stanley Cup Finals, June 6, 2025
Tonight, the Edmonton Oilers will collide with the Florida Panthers in Game 2 of the Stanley Cup Finals.
After conceding the first three games of last year's Stanley Cup, the Oilers jumped out to a 1-0 lead on Wednesday night, picking up a 4-3 win over the Panthers thanks to an overtime winner from Leon Draisaitl.
Edmonton trailed for much of the game, going down 2-1 in the first period before then heading into the third down 3-2. Then, in the third period, the team managed to find the back of the net, forcing OT, where Leon Draisaitl played hero to give the team an early lead in this best-of-seven series.
Heading into Game 2 tonight, the Oilers will be looking to jump out to a big 2-0 lead before the series heads to Florida for Games 3 & 4.

Looking at the odds for tonight's game between the Oilers and the Panthers
Heading into Game 2 of the Stanley Cup tonight, bettors seem to be pretty torn on who they think will get the win.
Currently, on FanDuel, Edmonton has -115 odds to win, while Florida has -104 odds to win.
Meanwhile, over on DraftKings, Edmonton has -115 odds, while Florida has -105 odds.
Based on the latest DraftKings odds, it would take a $115 bet on Edmonton to win $100 on top of the original bet, while a $105 bet on Florida would win $100 on top of the original bet.
Following tonight's game, the series will head to Florida for Game 3 on Monday, and Game 4 on Thursday.
Depending on how things play out tonight, we could very well see the series head back to Florida with Edmonton in a position to potentially close this series out with a pair of wins.
