When Wayne Gretzky's daughter Paulina boarded Donald Trump’s $7M helicopter to cheer on husband Dustin Johnson
Wayne Gretzky is widely regarded as one of the greatest hockey players of all time. The four-time Stanley Cup champion, who started from humble beginnings, has grown in stature and has become among the most recognizable names in all of sports.
Thanks to his fame, Gretzky has made some big-name friends, one of whom is Donald Trump. The NHL legend has been spotted alongside Trump on multiple occasions in the past.
Gretzky's daughter, Paulina, was once able to hitch a ride to the Hamptons on the $7 million Sikorsky S-76 MAGAcopter.
Paulina reportedly took the ride to the Hamptons to catch her then-boyfriend, pro-golfer Dustin Johnson in action at the 2018 US Open at Shinnecock Hills. The couple later tied the knot in 2022 and now have two kids.
Paulina uploaded a picture of her in front of the helicopter and tagged her friend Kristina, who accompanied her during the ride.
“HELL🚁 HAMPTONS @kmelnichenko,” Paulina Gretzky captioned.
The Trump and Gretzky families remain close. In 2021, Paulina and Johnson posed for a photo alongside Donald Trump at a Halloween party.
On Tuesday night, Wayne Gretzky was spotted alongside his family at a Republican Party gathering to celebrate Donald Trump's success in the 2024 US Presidential elections.

With Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump declaring victory over his Democratic rival Kamala Harris, it seems America has made its decision on who it wants to see as its next president.
Trump's success is underscored by the fact that he is the first former president since Grover Cleveland in 1892 to return to office after a previous defeat.
Members of the Republican party gathered in Florida to celebrate his win alongside Elon Musk, Dana White and pro-golfer Bryson DeChambeau, among others.
Also among those in attendance were the Gretzky family. Wayne's wife Janet, and their son Trevor also sported a "Make America Great Again" hat. Paulina and Dustin were also at the event.
