3x All-American wrestler Beau Bartlett celebrates graduation from Penn State University | PICTURES
Beau Bartlett has graduated from Pennsylvania State University after an impressive wrestling career with the college. The two-time All-American finished his senior season with a 24-2 overall, and had a 27-3 record as a junior the year prior.
The 141-pound wrestler graduated as a psychology major, having also won a bronze medal at the U20 World Championships in 2021. The Bartlettwas committed by the program under the mentorship of Cael Sanderson, and won a silver medal at the 2024 NCAA Championship as well as bronze in 2023.
Bartlett earned the spot in the NWCA All-Academic team in 2022, 2023, and 2024 and was also part of the Academic All-Big Ten in those three years.
The Penn State wrestler Bartlett shared glimpses of his graduation in a recent Instagram post, while dressed in academic regalia, Beau wrote:
"The spirit of a hustler and the swagger of a college *grad*📸 the amazing @syderin"
Beau Bartlett recently got married to his long-time girlfriend, Sydney Erin, in a private affair in Las Vegas. The couple got married on April 27th, at the same chapel where Bartlett's parents got married. His wife took the graduation photographs of the Penn State wrestler.
Beau Bartlett opens up about his love for Freestyle wrestling
At the post-event conference after his last event with Nittany Lions, Bartlett opened up about his love for freestyle wrestling. He concluding his 2025 NCAA Championship and his collegiate wrestling career on an uplifting note.
Speaking with Nittany Sports Now, Bartlett opened up about his love for freestyle wrestling after getting taken down in his first match. Bartlett said in March 2025:
"I got taken down in the first match and I didn't drill any bottom wrestling for like a whole day cuz I was just like all right freestyle. Then when I got taken down I froze for a couple seconds. I was like wait a minute I have to I have to get away. I forgot. So but I'm happy. I will never ever lose on 3 seconds of riding time again. Riding time is the rules of folk style. All that stuff. Um, I love freestyle. I love it so much. I'm a freestyler, born and raised. I'm excited to go do this."
Beau Bartlett finished his 2025 NCAA Championship with a bronze medal and also finished fifth at the 2025 Claw US Open Wrestling Championship. He recently faced Bo Bassett, but faced defeat in the World Team Trial event.
