Diamond League Finals 2024-Brussels: Top global stars to watch out for ft. Sha'Carri Richardson, Letsile Tebogo
With the Diamond League finals set to start on Friday (September 13) in Brussels, several potent athletes from around the world will be seen competing in the Belgian capital.
Numerous Paris Olympic stars from the United States such as Sha'carri Richardson, Ryan Crouser, Kenny Bednarek, and Vernon Norwood wil also feature in the last Diamond League meet of the season.
The Brussels event will also witness many Paris Olympic final rematches such as between Richardson and Julien Alfred in the Women's 100m, and Letsile Tebogo and Kenny Bednarek in the Men's 200m.

The 24-year-old is coming off an impressive victory in the Women's 100m of the Zurich Diamond League meet and will look to win the Diamond League finals for the first time in her career.

Julien Alfred has been one of the most consistent performers ever since the 2024 Paris Olympics where she clinched two medals for her country. In the Brussels meet, Alfred will compete over the 100m distance where she will have a face-off with fellow Olympians Sha'Carri Richardson and Dina Asher-Smith.

Ever since Letsile Tebogo's impressive 200m victory at the 2024 Paris Olympics, he has been in a league of his own. The Botswana sprinter has clinched four back-to-back Diamond League victories since then in Lausanne, Silesia, Rome, and Zurich. In Brussels, Tebogo will run the 200m event alongside the Paris Olympics 200m silver medalist, Kenny Bednarek.
