Paris Olympics double champion Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone recently spoke about her husband Andre's significant role in her life. The sprinter exchanged wedding vows with the former NFL player on May 5, 2022, at Early Mountain Vineyards in Madison, Virginia.
McLaughlin-Levrone won the gold medal in the women's 400m hurdles at the 2024 Paris Olympics, registering a new world record timing of 50.37 seconds in the process. She surpassed her previous record of 50.65 seconds, which she set just weeks back during the Olympic Trials.
In an interview shared by Track Spice, McLaughlin-Levrone emphasized the role of her husband Andre Levrone in her athletics journey, acknowledging his unwavering support and encouragement.
She further appreciated their relationship, which is free from judgment and full of love, concern, and honest conversations.
"What inspires me most about Andre is how much he pushes me to be the best that I can be," she said. "Not a lot of people truly see the purity in everybody, but he does.
"In our relationship, there is never judgment. It is truly just love and concern and being able to have open honest dialogue where you can get things out there," McLaughlin-Levrone added.
Before tying the knot in 2022, Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone and Andre got engaged on August 5, 2021, at the Four Seasons Resort in Scottsdale. They announced their relationship on social media in December 2020. The former NFL player shared a selfie along with the 25-year-old sprinter on social media and wrote,

Following her victorious streak at the 2024 Paris Olympics, Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone was seen delighting in a well-deserved quick vacation in Greece along with her husband Andre.
McLaughlin-Levrone, who turned 25 on August 7, 2024, took a trip to Europe for her birthday celebrations. The couple was seen soaking in the scenic beauty of Greece. The Olympic medalist gave her fans a few glimpse from the vacation, where she was seen wearing a chic white dress. She paired the dress with big golden hoops and a pair of classy maroon heels.
Along with her individual gold medal, McLaughlin Levrone ran an incredible second leg of 47.71 seconds to help the USA women's 4x400m relay team to the gold medal.
