In Pictures: Simone Biles, Jordan Chiles, and Joscelyn Roberson reunite after victorious Paris Olympics campaign for 'Gold Over America Tour'
American artistic gymnasts Simone Biles, Jordan Chiles, and Joscelyn Roberson together reunited following the 2024 Paris Olympics ahead of the Gold Over America Tour. This will be the second edition of the tour, with the first edition being launched by Biles after the Tokyo Olympics.
The Gold Over America Tour, featuring the likes of Biles, Chiles, and Roberson, will will witness brilliant athleticism and amazingly choreographed performances. The tour begins on September 16 in Frontwave Arena, Oceanside, and will conclude on November 3 at the Little Caesars Arena in Detroit.
Other prominent gymnasts who will appear in the Gold Over America Tour include Jade Carey, Hezly Rivera, Paul Juda, Brody Malone, Yul Moldauer, Trinity Thomas, Fred Richard, Ellie Black, and Melanie De Jesus Dos Santos, among others.
Following the Paris Olympics, the three artistic gymnasts Biles, Chiles, and Roberson reunited together after their time at the quadrennial games. At the Paris Olympics, Simone Biles and Jordan Chiles contributed significantly to the United States’ gold-medal triumph in the women’s all-around team event, with the nation winning the event with an overall score of 171.296 points. Biles earned three more medals in Paris, including two golds and one silver, to take her total Olympic medal count to 11.
On the other hand, Chiles experienced heartbreak after losing her bronze achieved in the women’s floor exercise after a ruling by the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) went against her. Meanwhile, Roberson, who traveled with the USA Gymnastics team as an alternate to Paris, announced that she was taking a break from elite gymnastics to start her NCAA career at the University of Arkansas.
Notably, Biles and Chiles had earlier reunited after the Paris Olympics during the opening MLB game of the Houston Astros team, where they were both honored for their Paris Olympics exploits.
Joscelyn Roberson once did a school research project on Simone Biles
During her school days, Joscelyn Roberson was so inspired by Simone Biles that she did a school research project on the renowned artistic gymnast. The project included highlights from Biles’ junior gymnastics career, senior career, Olympics journey, and statistics, among others. A photo of the project can be found on her Instagram handle.
In the picture, a young Roberson was all smiles, wearing a red leotard with a medal around her neck. She later became a part of the USA national team in 2021 and was a member of the USA’s gold-medal-winning team at the 2023 World Championships.
