Tara Davis-Woodhall's husband Hunter is all set to compete in the 2024 Paralympics after cheering for his wife at the 2024 Paris Olympics. The Paralympian sprinter will vie for gold medals in the men's 400m and 100m in the French capital.
The couple got married on October 16, 2022, at the D’Vine Grace Vineyard in McKinney, Texas, after competing at the Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics 2020, respectively. At the 2024 Paris Olympics, the long jumper claimed a gold medal after recording a distance of 7.10m.
She achieved this feat after surpassing Malaika Mihambo and Jasmine Moore's 6.98m and 6.96m, respectively. Following his wife's glorious victory at the Olympics, the sprinter is all set to compete in his third Olympics.
Following the 2024 Paralympics opening ceremony, he shared a few glimpses with the fans and wrote,
"Let’s get these Games rollin."
Hunter Woodhall secured a silver and a bronze medal in the 200m and 400m, respectively at the 2016 Games. Moreover, he also bagged a bronze medal in the 400m at the Tokyo Games.
The couple has always been a strong support system for each other. Tara Davis-Woodhall was seen running towards Hunter Woodhall after her Olympic gold win in Paris, and the couple shared a heartwarming hug and kiss.

After finishing sixth in the long jump at the 2020 Tokyo Games, Tara Davis-Woodhall secured a gold medal in Paris. She credited most of her success to Hunter Woodhall.
After navigating a long-distance relationship for a few years, the couple got engaged in September 2021. Since then, they are seen cheering for each other from the stands in most of their races. During an interview with NBS, the long jumper expressed her joy in celebrating the triumph with him.
“He’s gone through it all with me,” Tara Davis-Woodhall said. "So just jumping into his arms, that was just a full relief of ‘wow, I finally achieved my goal.’”
The Paralympian also praised his wife, stating watching her at the Olympics prepared him for his event.
“I’m feeling really good, mentally and physically," he said. "Watching Tara in Paris was a really great visualization. So I’m prepared.”
“There’s zero chance that we would be doing what we’re doing if we didn’t have each other,” Woodhall added.
The couple's love blossomed after they met for the first time in 2017 at an indoor track and field meet in Idaho.
