Lexi Rodriguez, Bergen Reilly and other Nebraska Volleyball players react to an emotional video by Rebekah Allick showcasing their NCAA journey

Nebraska Volleyball player Rebekah Allick recently showed a glimpse of her team, Nebraska Cornhuskers' NCAA journey. The Huskers had lost in an intense semifinal to the Penn State Nittany Lions, who eventually won the NCAA Championships.

Allick uploaded a slideshow of photographs on her Instagram account, which showed the journey of the Huskers in a nutshell. She captioned the post as,

"God this was such a good group."

Allick's teammates expressed their thoughts by commenting on her Instagram post. Taylor Landfair commented,

"Loveeeee youuuuu"

Bergen Reilly, who had recently written an emotional post for the graduating players, expressed her awe at the post as she wrote,

"This is so adorable"

Even the co-captains, Merritt Beason and Lexi Rodriguez couldn't help but post emotional reactions. Rodriguez commented,

"aweeee this is so cuteeee"

Beason had a two-word reaction for the same,

"So wholesome"

The Cornhuskers had an eventful season this year at the NCAA Championships. This was also the last time that players like Rodriguez and Beason would be playing together for the Huskers.

Nebraska Volleyball looked all set to clinch the NCAA Championships. They had defeated the Wisconsin Badgers in the regional finals to make it to the semifinals. However, despite their best efforts, they lost to the Penn State Lions in the semifinals.

No Nebraska Volleyball players entered on transfer portal: Reports

Though the current season wasn't the best one for Nebraska Volleyball, most of the players have chosen to remain with the team. No entries have been made on the transfer portal for the 2025 season.

A sports journalist, who actively covers the Nebraska Cornhuskers team, shared this news on X, writing:

"No Nebraska volleyball players have entered the portal as of Monday evening, according to sources," read the caption.

However, as mentioned earlier, players like Lexi Rodriguez, Merritt Beason etc. will no more be playing for the Nebraska Cornhuskers. Rodriguez had turned pro a few months ago, bringing an end to her illustrious NCAA career.

Nebraska Volleyball team last won the NCAA Championships in 2017. They had narrowly missed out on the trophy last year, when they finished as runners-up, after losing to the Texas Longhorns.
