Lindsey Vonn recently conveyed her excitement ahead of the release of the Swiss maestro Roger Federer's new documentary. The documentary 'Federer: Twelve Final Days' will be released on Thursday, June 20, 2024.

Federer has secured eight Wimbledon championships, six Australian Open, five US Open, and one French Open throughout his career. After featuring in 31 Grand Slam finals, the Swiss icon has collected 20 titles, cementing his legacy.

The documentary 'Federer: Twelve Final Days', directed by Academy Award-winning director Asif Kapadia, with Joe Sabia as the co-director, is set to premiere on Prime Video internationally. The documentary will give tennis fans an insight into the last 12 days of Federer's career at the 2022 Laver Cup, the maestro's final tournament.

Federer paired with his arch-rival Rafael Nadal for his final match at the Laver Cup, where they lost to Frances Tiafoe and Jack Sock. The documentary features his final speech before retirement, where the Swiss maestro wept beside the Spaniard. The documentary features a few clips from Nadal, Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray.

Vonn, who has consistently admired the Swiss sensation, couldn't control her excitement to watch the upcoming documentary and took to X writing:

" Cannot wait for this!!"

Vonn has often seized an opportunity to admire and appreciate Federer, from calling him the GOAT to congratulating him on launching new eyewear.

Lindsey Vonn finally underwent knee replacement surgery after suffering multiple injuries during her skiing career.

She took to social media to give an update on her recovery process to the fans, stating that dealing with the slow rehabilitation process has been a challenge for her.

"It has been 5 weeks since I went under the knife for my partial knee replacement," Lindsey Vonn wrote.
"The hardest part has been the slow progression into harder workouts. You guys know how much I love and need to workout for my mental sanity, so any time I’m doing things at a slow pace I struggle."

In the video shared by the former skier, she is seen doing weighted squats as a part of her recovery process.
