Lindsey Vonn reminisces on ski sessions with Roger Federer and Jannik Sinner as she anticipates the upcoming winter season after knee surgery

Lindsey Vonn recalled her ski sessions with legendary tennis player Roger Federer and the recent US Open champion Jannik Sinner. She looked back at her fun sessions ahead of the upcoming winter season.

The 2024-25 winter season of the Alpine Ski World Cup will commence on 27 October 2024, at Solden, Austria with a Giant Slalom. Vonn shared a few glimpses of her session with Sinner, Federer, and Shaun White. She shared a video of her and Sinner skiing from February 2024, when the Italian tennis player invited her to ski near his hometown.

The three-time Winter Olympics medalist also shared a few glimpses from her skiing sessions with the Swiss Maestro. The former tennis player and former Skier were seen gliding through the snow in February, earlier this year. Soon after this skiing session, Vonn found herself at the center of the GOAT debate.

Vonn also posted a funny video of her and White skiing together, where the three-time Olympic gold medalist was seen lying on Vonn's board, while she was descending the slope. She shared the videos and expressed her excitement for the upcoming season:

"The past few ski seasons have been so epic idk how it could get any better… but winter is coming and I can’t wait to have some fun with my new knee!! 🙌🏻⛷️💃🏼💪🏻❤️❄️ Who’s excited for winter?"

After navigating a series of injuries throughout her skiing career, Vonn recently underwent knee replacement surgery.

Citing her incredible skiing career, Lindsey Vonn was inducted into the Colorado Ski Hall of Fame on Saturday night.

She became the first US woman to secure an Olympic gold medal in downhill at the 2010 Vancouver Olympics. Being a three-time Olympic and eight-time world championship medalist, she was honored by young athletes from Ski & Snowboard Club Vail.

Vonn shared the achievement with her fans on social media and wrote,

"It was an honor to be inducted into the Colorado Ski Hall of Fame over the weekend," she wrote. "I was surrounded by people I grew up with, was coached by, taught by, and looked up to. Colorado has always welcomed me as one of their own and it means so much to receive this honor in front of so many people I care about."

Lindsey Vonn moved to Vail when she was 12 years old along with her four siblings to enroll at the Ski Club Vail.
