"Lot of money to volunteer to get embarrassed by Noah Lyles" - Fans react to reported confirmation of clash between the Olympian and Tyreek Hill

Fans are buzzing with excitement following the reported confirmation of a highly anticipated clash between Paris Olympic gold medalist Noah Lyles and NFL sensation Tyreek Hill. The two athletes will lock horns in 2025 during the Super Serious event.

The American track star bagged a gold medal in the 100m event at the Paris Games after clocking a staggering 9.79 seconds, securing the victory with a narrow lead of five-thousandths of a second over Jamaica's Kishane Thompson. However, he finished third in the 200m.

Following this, Hill asserted in defeating Lyles. The two athletes have since been in a back-and-forth banter. According to The Mirror US, the Olympic medalist and Super Bowl champion confirmed their battle participation.

With the clash nearing, fans couldn't contain their excitement and rallied behind their favorites as one of them wrote,

"Tyreek Hill must be getting a lot of money to volunteer to get embarrassed by Noah Lyle's like this. There is fast, and then there is Olympic Gold Medalist fast. The differentiation between the two isn't remotely close."

Another fan showed their confidence in Lyles' capacity to defeat Hill and wrote,

"Hill will get smoked."

One of the fans highlighted the possibility of Hill overpowering Lyles and wrote,

"The end of Track and Field if Tyreek wins."

Tyreek Hill criticized Noah Lyles after securing third place in the 200m at the Paris Games. Lyles clocked 19.70 seconds to follow Letsile Tebogo and Kenny Bednarek.

In an interview with “Up & Adams,” when the Miami Dolphins receiver was asked about his take on Lyles' comments on NBA players calling themselves world champions, Hill said:

"Lyles can’t say nothing after what just happened to him," Hill said. “Pretend like he’s sick, I feel like that’s horseradish. So for him to do that and say that we’re not world champions of our sport, come on, bruh. Just speak on what you know about, and that’s track.”

He added:

“I would beat Lyles. I wouldn’t beat him by a lot, but I would beat Noah Lyles.”

USATF confirmed that Lyles competed in the 200m while suffering from COVID-19.
