Paris Olympics 2024 Day 9: Medal Events for Team USA on 4 Aug ft. Noah Lyles in men’s 100m, Suni Lee in women’s uneven bars

The United States had its most successful day at the Paris Olympics 2024 on August 3 (Day 8), securing five gold, six silver, and seven bronze medals. With this dominant performance, they currently stand second on the medal tally, behind only China (16 gold), with a total of 61 medals, including 14 gold, 24 silver, and 23 bronze.

Ryan Crouser in the men’s shot put, Simone Biles in the women’s vault, Vincent Hancock in the men’s skeet, Katie Ledecky in the women’s 800m freestyle, and the Swimming mixed 4x100m medley relay team were the gold medalists on Day 8.

Among the silver medalists were Sha'Carri Richardson, Joe Kovacs, the mixed 4x400m relay team, Conner Prince, Kate Douglass, and Austin Krajicek/ Rajeev Ram. Meanwhile, Melissa Jefferson, Jasmine Moore, Stephen Nedoroscik, Jace Carey, Men's Eight (Rowing), Paige Madden, Taylor Fritz, and Tommy Paul bagged the bronze medals.

Day nine of the Paris Olympics will feature a strong US contingent aiming to bolster their medal tally. Noah Lyles, Kenny Bednarek, Fred Kerley, Suni Lee, Brady Ellison, Xander Schauffele, and Scottie Scheffler are a few prominent names who will be in action at the Paris Olympics.
