Racers Grand Prix 2025: Schedule, how to watch, athletes to watch out ft Kishane Thompson, Shericka Jackson

The 2025 Racers Grand Prix is scheduled to be held on June 7, Saturday, at the Jamaica National Stadium in Kingston. The event is categorized as one of the World Athletics Continental Tour Silver meetings for the 2025 season.

The event will feature some of Jamaica’s biggest track and field stars competing against top athletes from around the world for podium positions. One of the most anticipated events is the men’s 100m, which will see Olympic silver medalist Kishane Thompson go up against another home favorite Oblique Seville. Rising South African star Bayanda Walaza is another athlete to watch in this event.

In the women’s 200m, Shericka Jackson enters as the overwhelming favorite for the title. In her most recent outing, she won the 100m at the Rabat Diamond League with a time of 11.04s. Although she has competed in the 200m only once this season, finishing second at the Xiamen Diamond League, she is known for delivering on the big stage.

A few other big names to watch out for at the Racers Grand Prix are Jasmine Moore and Ackelia Smith (women’s triple jump), Christopher Bailey (men’s 400m), Devynne Charlton (women’s 100m hurdles), Trey Cunningham and Rasheed Broadbell (men’s 100m hurdles).

How to watch and live streaming details for the Racers Grand Prix?

The event will be streamed on the 1Spot Media platform for athletics fans in Jamaica, with a pay-per-view subscription required, priced at USD $14.99 during the early bird period (which ended May 22) and the regular price at USD $16.99.

Meanwhile, Kiswe, in partnership with PPIVOTT, will provide live streaming of the event outside of Jamaica, available for USD $4.99.

Tickets were sold at the ticketing office by the National Stadium in Kingston at 10 a.m. (local time) on Saturday, June 7.
