Cecile Landi, who represented France at the Atlanta Olympics in 1996, has been an integral part of the USA Gymnastics Team for more than a decade. She accompanied the USA Women's Gymnastics team at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics as well as the Paris Olympics.

Despite the temporary setback at the Tokyo Olympics, Landi continued to inspire her students, especially Simone Biles, who was facing several issues, including her mental health. Her efforts paid off at the Paris Olympics, where the USA Women's Gymnastics team won three gold, one silver, and three bronze medals.

Landi was overwhelmed when Biles and Jordan Chiles won the silver and bronze medals, respectively, in the women's floor exercise finals in Paris. She wrote in her Instagram post:

"From podium training to floor final, it’s been 12 days to remember forever! With so many emotions. Thank you Simone & Jordan for trusting us & allowing us to be a part of your amazing journey to HERstory ❤️🤍💙."

When Chiles' medal was revoked following the verdict of the Court of Arbitration for Sport, Landi backed her. She maintained that Chiles had won the bronze medal on merit and didn't steal it from anyone.

Cecile Landi is now the co-head coach at the University of Georgia. She left the World Champions' Center after serving for seven years as the head coach.
