Simone Biles set to open new restaurant 'Taste of Gold' at the Bush International Airport
Seven-time Olympic gold medalist, Simone Biles is all set to open a new restaurant at the George Bush International Airport in Houston, Texas. The restaurant is reportedly set to be positioned beside the A8 gate of the airport and will be operational next year.
As per reports, the restaurant will be named "Taste of Gold" and will be managed by the airport food catering management group, SSP America. Moreover, Biles has got on board The Playmakers Group and restauranter Mark Brezinski for the thematic and holistic development of the restaurant.
Biles recently said in a statement that the main aim of her restaurant would be to provide a comfortable and fine dining experience to the guests. Besides, the American gymnast also shared that her restaurant will have shades of her favorite flavors in various dishes. She said (via a press release):
"I am a foodie at heart, and our hope with Taste of Gold is to offer a beautiful dining experience that features award-winning, signature menu items with some of my favorite flavors sprinkled in for our guests."
The restaurant will also symbolize and celebrate the exceptional achievements of Simone Biles across her decade-long career, including seven Olympic gold medals and 23 World Championships gold medals.
Francisco Cuellar, Chief Commercial Development Officer of the airport also said in a statement that the Biles' Taste of Gold restaurant is going to further enhance the food catering service and dining experience of the Bush International Airport.
Simone Biles launches new wardrobe collection with prominent Gap-owned brand
Simone Biles recently launched her new wardrobe collection in association with the clothing retailer giant Gap-owned brand, Athleta. This comes a month after the gymnast's successful outing at the 2024 Summer Olympics where she clinched three golds and a silver medal.
Biles' new collection with Athleta will feature numerous clothing accessories for both men and women such as tops, innerwears, and jackets. The Gap-owned brand has been a long-time sponsor of the 27-year-old gymnast who joined hands with the brand three years ago in 2021 after breaking ties with Nike. Biles also recently announced this new launch on her official Instagram handle.
Simone Biles is currently headlining the Gold Over America Tour which will be a celebratory tour across the United States. It will feature numerous other US gymnasts such as Jade Carey, Hezly Rivera, and Jordan Chiles.
