Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone receives personalized necklace featuring her and husband Andre Levrone's Initials
American athlete Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone recently received a heartwarming token of love that celebrated her bond with her husband, Andre Levrone. It was a personalized necklace featuring the letters "S" and "A", presumably referring to the athlete and her husband's initials. The Olympian shared a picture of the necklace on social media.
McLaughlin-Levrone has had a terrific 2024 season. Among her early season events were wins in the 100m hurdles and 200m at the Occidental Invitational in May. In the same month, she competed at the Edwin Moses Legends Meet in Atlanta, Georgia to bag the gold medal in the 400m hurdles. In June, she competed in the 400m hurdles at the US Olympic Track and Field Trials, punching her ticket to Paris. She won gold in the 400m hurdles and the 4x400m relay at the Paris Olympics in August. Recently, the athlete concluded her season at the Diamond League Final in Brussels on September 13 and 14, by winning the flat 200m and 400m invitational races.
Following her brilliant winning streak in 2024, McLaughlin-Levrone received an adorable necklace.
The athlete shared a picture of the golden Dana Seng necklace that featured her and her husband’s initials, on her Instagram story.
Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone married Andre Levrone in May 2022 at Early Mountain Vineyards in Madison, Virginia, having met in 2020. Levrone, 29, was a wide receiver in the NFL. He retired as a professional athlete in 2020, and then ventured into real estate to work as a project engineer. Presently, he is also pursuing seminary studies.
Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone on how her husband inspires her
Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone often talks about the support and love she receives from her husband, Andre Levrone. In an interview with Track Spice in August, the four-time Olympic gold medallist expressed how her husband inspires her to “be the best.” She said,
“What inspires me most about Andre is how much he pushes me to be the best that I can be. Not a lot of people truly see the purity in everybody, but he does."
Furthermore, she revealed that there are no judgments in their relationship.
"In our relationship, there is never judgment. It is truly just love and concern and being able to have open honest dialogue where you can get things out there," the athlete added.
Moreover, right after her exceptional run at the Paris Olympics, the couple took a vacation trip to Greece. McLaughlin-Levrone posted snaps of their time together on Instagram.
