"Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens ❤️"
While Biles usually spends her Christmas holidays with her adoptive parents in Belize, this time it's going to be slightly different. In her interview with Kelly Clarkson at 'The Kelly Clarkson Show', the American gymnast mentioned,
“I want to be in a bathing suit. We used to actually go away for Christmas to Belize. Yeah, my mom just got there on Monday. I’m gonna stay with my husband, in the cold."
Simone Biles began dating Jonathan Owens in 2020. They announced their engagement in 2022, following which they married in April 2023. Owens had even arrived at the Paris Olympics to cheer for Biles along with her adoptive parents, Ron and Nellie Biles.
Simone Biles on husband's dream coming true with football games during holiday season
Recently, Simone Biles talked about how her husband, Jonathan Owens, is very excited to see his dream come true, i.e., football games being played around the holiday season. In a recent interview, the 27-year-old gymnast opened up about her husband's current priorities, as well as his love for the NFL.
When asked about holiday football games during the interaction with E! News Online, Biles responded,
“I think it's just so special. It just puts a fire in Jonathan's heart because he wants to play well, and he knows that everybody sits around the living room and each of the families is watching this. He is so excited because that was one of his dreams to make it to the NFL and be playing on these holidays. So, he’s super grateful and passionate about that.”
In the same interview, Biles also revealed her most special moments from the 2024 season. In her words,
"Honestly, since my husband and I got married we’ve been doing long-distance. After the Olympics and my tour, I would say the highlight has been spending quality time with him for the first time in the longest time since we’ve been married. Just cherishing those times, moving into our house in Chicago, and making it our home."
Simone Biles won three gold medals and a silver medal at the Paris Olympics to become the most decorated American female gymnast of all time. She also successfully conducted the second season of the 'Gold over America Tour,' which was previously conducted in 2021, soon after the Tokyo Olympics.
