WATCH: Stephen Nedoroscik performs Busnari on Pommel horse in the Ballroom four months after his last training session
Stephen Nedoroscik is back to performing gymnastics, right from the platform of 'Dancing with the Stars'. After winning two bronze medals at the Paris Olympics, the 25-year-old performed another pommel horse routine.
Nedoroscik uploaded a video of his pommel horse routine on his Instagram account, as he performed a Busnari move over it. He also expressed his thoughts on the performance, writing:
"Busnari in the ballroom‼️‼️ Surprised myself by making one cuz I haven’t trained this skill since May 😅!! Definitely not part of the dance routine, but man it feels nice to swing some horse 🙌🏻🙌🏻
Huge shoutout to @spiethgymnastics for helping us get a Pommel Horse here!"
For the unversed, a Busnari move is a unique move in the pommel horse segment of artistic gymnastics. This move was named after Alberto Busnari, an Italian gymnast who popularized the move, and almost won an Olympic medal at the London Olympics due to the same, finishing fourth overall. Like the Produnova move in the vault event, Busnari is far from a cakewalk.
Stephen Nedoroscik is preparing for the next round of the 33rd season of the dance reality show 'Dancing with the Stars'. He has cleared the first two weeks, alongside Olympic medalist in rugby sevens', Ilona Maher.
When Stephen Nedoroscik added pommel horse routine to his amazing foxtrot performance
Stephen Nedoroscik made it to the next round of "Dancing with the Stars" on the basis of his brilliant foxtrot performance on the song 'Here I Go Again' on the Hair-Metal night theme. For the performance, Stephen and his dancing partner earned a total score of 32 out of 40.
However, that was not all. A video of the performance has been making rounds over the social media, where Nedoroscik infused his gymnastic skills with his brilliant moves. Even the official page of USA Gymnastics on X [formerly Twitter] couldn't help but repost the video with the caption,
"Stephen added a little flair to the dance floor this week!"
Nedoroscik's partner Rylee Arnold was extremely ecstatic over his consistent improvement in his dancing performances. She took to Instagram to express her thoughts about the American gymnast's performance. Arnold wrote,
"This was so much fun last night!!!✨🤘🏼 S teve I’m so so proud of you and your motivation every single week! you are truly the best and i can’t wait for our dance coming up this week!!!❤️🔥."
Stephen Nedoroscik has impressed so far in "Dancing with the Stars", ever since he was invited to the show during the Paris Olympics, where he won two medals. Apart from contributing towards a historic bronze medal in the team all-around event, Nedoroscik also brought home a bronze medal in the pommel horse event, being the only male American gymnast with an individual medal.
