"We ended up having a cool, casual conversation" - Noah Lyles shares celebrity moment of meeting Coco Gauff at the Paris Olympics 2024

Men's 100m Olympic champion Noah Lyles spoke about the star he was excited to catch up with at the 2024 Paris Olympics. The sprinter stated during a recent interview that he was most excited to meet WTA tennis player Coco Gauff at the Paris quadrennial event.

Lyles said that even though he had tried to meet Gauff quite a few times in the past, he didn't get the opportunity as they both have a hectic schedule. The 26-year-old athlete said they had a nice chat at the Olympic Village while grabbing breakfast.

Lyles said (via Betches):

"I finally got to meet up with Coco Gauff. I met her dad quite a few times and we have spoken and we tried to meet in a few events and I tried to invite her to a few track meets but we are both very busy. So, finally we got to meet up at the opening ceremony and then again a few days later when we were both trying to get breakfast and ended up having a cool, casual conversation."

Lyles ended his 2024 Paris Olympics campaign with two medals. He won a gold and a silver over the 100m and 200m distances respectively.

Gauff was defeated in the third round of the Olympics by Donna Vekic.
