Paris Olympics 2024 are just weeks away and the excitement in the sporting world is palpable. The quadrennial event will witness some of the biggest sporting stars grace the competition in Paris. There will also be some of the popular sports couples.

From track and field to tennis, several couples, either married, engaged, or still dating, will compete at the Paris Olympics 2024. Let's take a look at some of the popular ones.

Sports couples who will compete at Paris Olympics 2024

# Noah Lyles and Junelle Broomfield

Noah Lyles and Junelle Bromfield met online in 2017 and were friends till 2022. Their romantic relationship started in early 2022, with the American proposing to the Jamaican during the World Championships.

Lyles is the reigning world champion in the 100m and 200m and will compete in both events at the Paris Olympics 2024, along with the 4x100m relay. Broomfield won bronze at June's Jamaican Olympic Trials and will compete in women's 400m. The two also competed at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

# Gerek Meinhardt and Lee Keifer

US Fencers Gerek Meinhardt and Lee Keifer are one of the longest-active sports couples. They started dating in 2012 before tying the knot in 2019 and will now be competing in their fourth Olympic Games together at the Paris Olympics 2024.

Paris Olympics 2024 will mark Meinhardt’s fifth consecutive Olympic Games while Keifer will be participating in her fourth successive edition of the quadrennial event. Both have won medals at the Olympic Games, with Keifer securing the gold at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and husband Meinhard winning two bronze medals in his Olympic career.

# Alex De Minaur and Katie Boulter

Alex De Minaur and Katie Boulter are among the most popular tennis couples and both will be competing at the Paris Olympics 2024.

De Minaur will represent the Australian team while Boulter is part of Great Britain's squad. The couple started dating in 2020. While De Minaur is ranked No. 9 on the ATP Tour, Boulter is 29th in the WTA singles rankings.

# Gael Monfils and Elina Svitolina

Gael Monfils and Elina Svitolina started dating in 2019 and tied the knot in 2020. They will compete as a couple at the 2024 Paris Olympics for the second time, the 2021 Tokyo Olympics being the first instance.

One of the most popular tennis couples, Monfils will represent France in his home games while Svitolina is part of Ukraine's squad for the Paris Olympics 2024. The French ace is ranked No. 33 (ATP) while the Ukrainian is No. 21 in the WTA standings.
