You can't change my mind that Love Island USA star Huda’s critique of Amaya is a reflection of her own insecurities

Love Island USA season 7 welcomed two new bombshells this week on June 6, 2025, during episode 4. The bombshells — Hannah and Amaya — took part in the baseball-themed challenge the islanders participated in, but the latter's actions turned one female cast member against her.

Amaya picked Jeremiah as her fourth base in the task, and the male cast member's connection, Huda, was left fuming. She was so upset by Amaya's choice that she called her a "b*tch" and had an overall negative attitude about her. I personally believe that Amaya was doing what she was supposed to be doing as a bombshell, and that Huda took it too far.

I think a large contributor to Huda's attitude towards the new cast member was a result in her feeling less than secure in her relationship with Jeremiah. Earlier in the episode, the viewers saw Jeremiah's reaction to Huda being a mother. At the time, Huda, who believed they were the strongest pair, felt the need to ask her partner if he thought things would change between them. He said he liked her "right now" and thought together, they could win the Peacock show.

Huda's behavior towards Amaya also made me debunk the female islander's claims of being "emotionally mature" because of how upset she got that Amaya kissed Jeremiah as part of a challenge. She angrily pushed away a cast member's hand who tried to cover Huda's eyes while Amaya and Jeremiah performed in the task.

Later, she broke down in tears and told the cameras that what was hers, was hers, and she didn't want anyone "touching it." These are not the statements of someone who is emotionally mature or secure in their relationship and Huda's behavior makes me believe that she needs to self-reflect and reconsider how she wants to spend her time in the villa considering that the show will continue to send bombshells in and that her partner will have to kiss other women as part of the show.

Huda calls Amaya "messy" and gets emotional about Love Island USA season 7 episode 4

In Love Island USA season 7 episode 4, after the baseball challenge, Huda, Chelley, Olandria, Cierra, and Belle-A discussed what happened and Huda criticized the new bombshell for picking Jeremiah as her fourth base.

Huda said she was not upset with Jeremiah and said he played the game well but was frustrated with Amaya for picking him.

"But I think that, that b*tch is f*cking messy," she added.

Love Island USA season 7 star Chelley stated that she wanted to play the "Devil's advocate" for a second and explained to Huda that Amaya did nothing wrong. She said that everyone was still exploring their potential connections and that Huda and Jeremiah were also "open" to doing that.

Huda understood where Chelley was coming from and told Cierra about her child. She got emotional ad she told the group that she told Jeremiah about the same the previous day and that it was something that was extremely hard for her to do. The Love Island USA season 7 islander started to cry as the others hugged her and consoled him.

"But like, seeing him kiss somebody else like f*ck, I hated it. Like I hated it," Huda said.

The Love Island USA season 7 star further commented on the same in a confessional and said that she didn't like people trying to touch what was hers. Huda added that she knew that "b*tch" didn't "f*cking" compare to her and that she didn't know her. However, she admitted to being upset that Amaya picked Jeremiah as her number 1.

Huda's behavior makes me feel that she's projecting her own insecurities onto Amaya and that she and Jeremiah are possibly not as strong as the Love Island USA season 7 cast member might like to believe.
