"Absolute idiots, buffoons" - Adin Ross goes off on Taylor Swift for supporting Kamala Harris

While streamers typically stay away from politics, in recent years, this trend has certainly changed. Adin Ross, the popular Kick streamer, has certainly been one of the flagbearers of this change. The streamer has already done (essentially endorsed) a live stream with former U.S. President and current presidential candidate Donald Trump (Republican Party).

Adin is also a frequent critic of those who support Kamala Harris (the current Vice President and a candidate in the upcoming election). One of them is popular singer, Taylor Swift, who has voiced her support for the Democratic Party.

During his recent stream (September 11, 2024), the streamer was asked about his thoughts on the celebrity endorsing Harris. A visibly irked Adin went off on her, as well as her boyfriend Travis Kelce (possibly assuming that the NFL star also shares a similar line of thought). He said:

"Taylor Swift is a f**king r*tard and so is (Travis) Kelce. I don't care. Like, absolute idiots. Buffoons, bro. Absolute idiots, bro. It's just sad."

Why did Adin Ross go off on Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce?

As mentioned earlier, Adin Ross isn't the biggest fan of those who have voiced their support for Kamala Harris, one such celebrity being Taylor Swift. Swift took to her official Instagram account to share a write-up about her preferences for the upcoming election, stating:

"Recently I was made aware that AI of ‘me’ falsely endorsing Donald Trump’s presidential run was posted to his site. It really conjured up my fears around AI, and the dangers of spreading misinformation."

She clearly stated that she will be casting her vote for Kamala Harris in the upcoming presidential election:

"I will be casting my vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in the 2024 Presidential Election. I’m voting for @kamalaharris because she fights for the rights and causes I believe need a warrior to champion them. I think she is a steady-handed, gifted leader and I believe we can accomplish so much more in this country if we are led by calm and not chaos."

While NFL star Travis Kelce hasn't officially endorsed either of the two candidates publicly, Adin Ross probably isn't his biggest fan, especially since he's been dating Taylor Swift for over a year now. This explains his rant against him.

Speaking of Adin's support of Donald Trump, during their stream together, the streamer had gifted the former president a custom-made Tesla and a Rolex. However, this action ended up landing him in hot waters as it exceeded the donation amount one individual can give to a candidate.
