"I know it pisses people off" - KSI admits he got into a feud with DanTDM amid Lunchly controversy to "promote" his music

YouTube star JJ "KSI" has recently faced a lot of backlash due to his ongoing tirade against fellow YouTube creator Dan "DanTDM." For context, after KSI (along with Logan Paul and Jimmy "MrBeast") launched Lunchly, a pre-cooked meal box brand, DanTDM voiced criticism against it, by labeling it as "selling crap to kids."

"This is selling stuff for the sake of making money, simple. How does this benefit their fans? This is selling crap to kids who don't know better than to trust the people who are selling it to them."

Since DanTDM's post, KSI has targeted the YouTuber, making several posts along the way. Recently during one episode of the Sidemen's podcast, Sidecast, KSI was confronted by fellow Sidemen members regarding his stance, to which the Lunchly co-owner said:

"I just do it because I know it pisses people off. I look on Twitter, and I go, 'Oh wow, these people actually care that I am saying all these things.' I'd like to continue it, 'cause it's just funny. But I also feel like it's reaching its point where it's not even funny for me."

Sidemen members Ethan "Behzinga" and Tobi "TBJZL," jointly responded:

"It's not funny."

KSI responded:

"No bro, it was great. I was using it for the promo of my song."

Behzinga replied by stating that he wasn't really "rattling" DanTDM:

"You're not rattling Dan, you're rattling his fan base."

"Let's talk this out like men" - KSI invites DanTDM to Sidecast to debate him on Lunchly

DanTDM, one of YouTube's biggest creators, has found himself in a rather one-sided feud with KSI. The latter has consistently called out the Minecraft creator in response to his criticism of Lunchly.

Despite the call-out posts and being targeted, DanTDM has remained silent and has not responded to the feud. In response, yesterday (October 4, 2024), the Sidemen member took to his X.com account to invite DanTDM to Sidecast, to debate him on the topic.

"Ayo @dantdm, why don’t you come over to Sidecast? Let’s talk this out like men."

Despite KSI's ongoing tirade against DanTDM, other Sidemen members have distanced themselves from the feud. In fact, in an earlier Sidecast episode featuring Harry "W2S" and Josh "Zerkaa," both stated that the "beef" is strictly between KSI and DanTDM and does not involve them.
