"I'm done" - TommyInnit comments on Logan Paul promoting Prime while talking about the "Gaza conflict"
Minecraft YouTuber and streamer Thomas "TommyInnit" became the latest to criticize fellow creator Logan Paul publicly. Logan, despite having a big fan base, has been facing flak from the internet lately, particularly after his latest product launch, Lunchly. On top of this, one of his past ventures, Prime (Logan and KSI's hydration drink), has also been subject to online criticism.
One instance, in particular, saw Logan Paul promote his beverage company during a segment in his ImPaulsive Podcast titled "Gaza Conflict." The podcast episode in question featured Donald Trump, the 45th President of the United States and current presidential candidate for the 2024 elections.
While this episode was uploaded in June 2024, today (October 5), TommyInnit took to his X account to call out the WWE star over the questionable use of sponsorships during a segment on such a serious topic. The Minecraft creator wrote:
"Right, I'm done."
What are the recent controversies involving Logan Paul's Prime and Lunchly?
As mentioned earlier, YouTuber and WWE star Logan Paul is no stranger to facing criticism for his online activities. His two biggest entrepreneurial ventures - Lunchly and Prime - have also become subjects of debate.
Recently, there has been considerable discussion surrounding Logan Paul's products. For instance, medical professional Brian Sutterer called out Prime for branding sodium as electrolytes. Logan has since responded, clarifying that the ingredient in question is potassium:
"Crazy how even a 'sports medicine doctor' can’t tell the difference between Sodium and Potassium. The referenced 400mg of Electrolytes is the potassium in PRIME, you idiot."
The criticism surrounding Lunchly has also been well-documented, with creators like DanTDM voicing concerns about the potential health risks the product poses for children. In a post calling out the product, DanTDM wrote:
"This is selling stuff for the sake of making money, simple. How does this benefit their fans? This is selling crap to kids who don't know better than to trust the people who are selling it to them."
DanTDM's post has sparked a series of caustic responses from JJ "KSI," one of the three co-owners of Lunchly. KSI has even invited Dan to join an episode of the Sidemen Podcast to debate the issue.
