"It's really, really sad" — Kick streamer Adin Ross claims Kamala Harris is paying rappers to endorse her
Twitch streamer Adin Ross recently claimed that US Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris is paying rappers to endorse her. He said this shortly after popular rappers Quavo and Megan Thee Stallion spoke in favor of the Vice President at a rally at Georgia State University.
In one of his latest livestreams on Kick, Ross said that voting for Kamala would mean getting trapped in the “matrix":
“If you guys are gonna trap yourself to be working this matrix 9 to 5 forever… vote Kamala. If you want to be entrepreneurs… then you have to vote Trump.”
The streamer then claimed that Kamala Harris is messaging rappers on Instagram, asking them to endorse her. Mentioning Quavo and Snot, he said:
“I have so much love and respect for Quavo as an artist. I really wish I didn't see what Quavo did. You know, Kamala Harris is DM-ing rappers. She DMs Snot, Snot posted on Twitter, which I respect Snot for doing.”
For the unversed, in a recent X post, rapper Snot uploaded a screenshot of a message from Harris, which started with:
“Friend, I’m running to be President of….”
Continuing to talk about Harris trying to get rappers to support her, Adin Ross mentioned Megan Thee Stallion and said:
“She’s trying to endorse rappers to come and do it. Megan Thee Stallion and Quavo, they probably took a bag to go to the conference and stuff. It's sad, bro. It's really, really sad. You know, I wish they didn't do that.”
Adin Ross has set up an interview with former US President Donald Trump
In the same livestream where Adin made the aforementioned comments, he announced an upcoming livestream with former US President and Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, as a part of the latter's election campaign. The interview is scheduled to take place on August 5, 2024, and will be the first time Trump has appeared on Ross’s channel.
Regarding the upcoming stream, Adin has said:
“This is gonna be one of the biggest streams ever. I bet $100,000 with the Kick CEO that we will surpass 600,000 concurrent viewers. I believe in this, and I know you guys do too.”
The interview will start at 1 pm ET.
