Logan Paul responds to DanTDM's criticism of YouTubers starting businesses for profit
Logan Paul has responded to Minecraft creator DanTDM after the latter called him out, alongside KSI, MrBeast, and YouTubers in general who are starting business ventures for the "sake of making money." For context, DanTDM recently posted on X criticizing Lunchly.
After MrBeast, Logan Paul, and KSI launched Lunchly on September 17, many congratulated them on their new collaboration on the Lunchable-styled packaged lunchbox business. However, DanTDM was displeased and claimed that YouTubers nowadays have been trying to make money without meaningfully helping their community by selling products they don't need.
The elder Paul brother has responded and directly replied to DanTDM stating that successful YouTubers have already built a brand on the platform and now want to start businesses. In a post on X, Logan wrote:
"I’ll tell you what happened to YouTubers. We spent our lives creating content and building our brands. Now we want to build businesses."
"Then don’t eat it": Logan Paul replies to DanTDM criticizing the launch of Lunchly
Lunchly is a major collaboration between MrBeast's chocolate bar brand Feastables and PRIME, the beverage company founded by KSI and Logan Paul. As mentioned, the business model is styled like Lunchables and numerous comparisons have been made.
While DanTDM called out YouTubers in general when he was talking about content creators establishing businesses, it was in a post reply to the news that the trio had launched Lunchly, inviting Logan Paul to respond. After claiming that YouTubers like him want to own businesses that expand on their brands as creators, Paul criticized DanTDM for not speaking out against companies like Lunchables for alleged code violations.
In his post, Paul went as far as to state that if Dan doesn't like it, he can just opt not to buy Lunchly:
"You don’t say anything when Lunchables faces bans for allegedly containing LEAD but when we create a better version, you’re upset? Then don’t eat it."
In a subsequent post on X, he also shared a press release about lead being allegedly found in Lunchables.
Considering both are pre-packaged lunch meals, comparisons between Lunchables and Lunchly are quite natural.
