Ludwig claims his livestream was blocked and demonetized after he listened to KSI's new song on YouTube
Popular YouTube live streamer Ludwig Ahgren has claimed that his recent broadcast was demonetized and blocked in every country because he reacted to KSI's brand new song titled, Thick of It. In a post on X dated October 6, 2024, Ahgren shared screenshots stating that the copyright owner of the track, WMG, had essentially DMCA-d (Digital Millennium Copyright Act) the entire stream because of it.
In the post, Ludwig wrote:
"my entire livestream is no longer viewable bc i listened to ksi's song and it not only got demonetized it was blocked in every country"
Ludwig reveals liking KSI's new song after his stream gets banned for listening to it
KSI's new song, Thick of It, has seen mixed reactions from fans and listeners following its release a few days ago. While some of his supporters have praised it, others like Twitch streamer Agent00 think that the song "sucks". However, despite copyright holders taking down his broadcast, it does not seem that Ludwig was one of the haters.
In a subsequent post on X, Ludwig revealed how he was "rocking" and vibing with the song and liked it, even though his stream was blocked from every country. The YouTube streamer even quoted a line from the song, writing:
"Worst part is i was rocking to that song. From the screen. To the ring to the PEN. Where's my crown. thats my bling"
Naturally, Ludwig's entire livestream being removed from YouTube caught the attention of many online. Netizens on X have pointed out that others have also had their videos removed or demonetized for reacting to KSI's new song.
X user @TylerDuran21 commented on how KSI reacted to a YouTuber named @NoLifeShaq asking for his video to be unblocked. It appears the singer-cum-boxer had outright stated that the title of the video painted the song in a negative light and that he would not help getting it unblocked.
KSI has yet to address Ludwig about the copyright claim. Readers should note that the two have clashed in the past after the streamer called out the British YouTuber during their collaboration on MrBeast's video.
